   So fucking hyped for this…? I read the trilogy in nine days, completely wrapped up in the story. Would have been sooner if I didn’t have to go to work.

   I’ve watched both of the Battle Royale movies and no. Yeah both are? kids pitted against each other but that’s about as far as the similarities go. I feel as if Battle Royale is a shallow movie where as the Hunger Games has a depth to it. Maybe it’s because I read the Hunger Games book and not read the mangas for Battle Royale? Maybe it’s simply because I spent most of my time trying to read the subtitles as fast as I can so I don’t miss anything on the screen? Maybe I just missed it all together

   Oh please the Hunger Games is nothing like that Japanese movie. Just because the idea is kind of similar doesnt mean? that the author copied it.
